My favorite summer footgear had reached the point that a good bath in the washing machine would only subdue the funky odor for a few days. Washing and treating with 2Toms has made them viable footgear again. Works well on any shoes or sandals that are worn without socks. Kills odor and with a few applications seems to hold it in check. I still wash them occasionally just to get them clean. Works for me! I have now sprayed one particular pair of shoes 4x and let them dry throughly inbetween each spraying. I have not worn the shows inbetween sprayings....they are still stinky! It totally cured my issue and I've been using it ever since. It takes a little getting used to - stings a tiny bit in the beginning of use - but that quickly goes away. I've recommended it to everyone I know with sweaty feet issues and they are all hooked. One other tip for sweaty smelly feet - in addition to using this product please DO wash your feet real good when you bathe. And I mean more than letting the soap run off your legs onto your feet. I'm actually able to wear tennis shoes all day long without smelly or over sweating. I will say I was doubtful when I first got it. You spray it on and it is pure liquid - not a powder spray like most other foot sprays. I spray (a bunch of it) over my feet through toes and then put socks on right away to hold in the the stuff. I do this once a day and have not had any problem with over sweating (you still sweat some) or smelly feet - really a godsend as I used to try all types of other sprays and electrolysis (which didn't work for me). Highly recommended. However, this stuff really works. But you have to remember something - although they claim on the package that it will work for up to 5 days, they also say that it lasts through 3 showers. So unless you don't wash every day there is no way it will last 5 days. I am using it twice a week and that's enough to forget about the smell altogether. I will definetely keep buying it! I have to re-apply every 3 days or so as opposed to the 5 advertised but it's a small price to pay for sweat-free shoes. I absolutely recommend this product if you think you need it.
